"I was too young to remember the first time I came to the Osika campsite. Although, this community of campers, whose history has been built over decades and across generations, marked an important part of my childhood.
I decided to return back with the idea of giving this part of my memory a visual form. But the place has been transformed since, and became almost unrecognizable.
I remembered the Lake Osika, that was surrounding the campsite. Now the beach became much smaller and the water hardly touched the pier. But when the sun begins to set and everyone gathers near the water to observe it, my memories come back to life. Boys build a raft and youngsters lie down to chat and enjoy the last moments of the day. Some will grow up and will never come back. For others, this place will remain each summer ritual that they will share with generations to come. Only the wooden crafted raft remains on the shore and is getting mould.
